Hello everyone,

Happy Tuesday 🙂

Here are your Tech Tips for the Week!

  1.  Have you ever had something in Canvas just completely disappear?  Or did you accidentally click delete on an assignment or page that you were working on?  Good news is that Canvas has come up with a way to "un-delete" your content with a few simple steps!  Here is how to do it:

You will log into your canvas course and go to your home page.  At the top of your home page, you are going to see a URL:

To recover any of your work that went missing, simply type a forward slash and then "undelete" (/undelete)

You are then going to see a huge page of things you can "restore" and add back to your canvas course.

2.  Did you know that Microsoft Outlook has a pin feature to put important emails at the top?  Let's say that you have an important email you need to respond to later in the day or something that is on your to-do list for the week.  You can "pin" that email to the top of your inbox to find it easier!  Here is how you do it:

Locate the email you want to pin and hover your mouse over it until you see 4 symbols appear.  The last symbol looks like a pin:

Once you pin the email, it will move to the top of your screen:

You can "un-pin" an email the same way- just click back on the pin symbol to move it back to your inbox.

Have a fantastic week!
