Hello Everyone,

It's a great Tuesday afternoon!

Here are your Tech Tips for the week 🙂

Vocaroo 🗣️🗨️

Here is a great tool that you might not know about- Vocaroo!  This tool allows you to record any audio:  reading an assessment, directions, snippet of a song, class discussions, etc. and then automatically download it as a QR code.

Here is the website:  https://vocaroo.com/

It is super simple- press the red record button:
The very first time it will ask you permission to use your computer's microphone.  Once you click "allow" you are then able to talk.  You can talk an unlimited amount of time....FOR FREE!

Once you are done recording, you can click the stop button and then listen to what you recorded.  If you don't like it, you can click on the red circle to re-record.  Or you can click on save and share:

Vocaroo allows you to copy the direct link to your recording, download a QR code, embed the audio recording on your Canvas page, and even allows you to download the mp3 to save in your OneDrive or Google Drive folder for later use.  It's worth noting that if you plan to use these audio recordings in the future, it would be a good habit to download them and save them in your OneDrive or Google Drive.  The QR codes will expire after 6 months.
